How does the research proceed?

The ASD assessment in adults consists of several steps:

1. Intake interview – During this interview, we will discuss your symptoms, life story, and support needs.
2. Questionnaires and tests – You will complete psychological questionnaires about behavior, communication, and sensory processing.
3. Diagnostic interview – A psychologist will conduct an in-depth interview based on recognized guidelines (such as the ADOS-2 or ADI-R).
4. Information from loved ones – If possible, we will involve someone close to you (partner, family member) to gain a complete picture.
5. Feedback interview – You will receive a clear explanation of the results, including advice on treatment, support, or next steps.

The goal of the assessment is to gain insight into how your brain processes information and what you need to function better in work, relationships, and daily life.
